Ernesto Marquette Evalobo
Ernie began playing drums in numerous bands in South Carolina in 1998. He quickly developed a solid motown, funk groove sense that has become his signature and was an important part of the sound fo the band kool'haus. Once kool'haus disbanded, he continued playing with Dwight Raby.
Ernie's grooves are a key element to The Dwight Raby Band's sound. Dwight says "I couldn't imagine playing with another drummer. I'm sure it will happen one day that Ernie and I won't be playing together, but I've gotten so used to his grooves that it's affected my songwriting. Also, bassists love playing with him because he's so creative with his rhythms."
Ernie's creativity and meter have earned him the nickname "Rhythm Bitch".
